Our Story
European Senior Care was founded by Simon and Marina, who came to the United States in the early 1990s from two different European countries.
Marina arrived from St. Petersburg, Russia, with a medical background. Simon came from the Czech Republic with a degree in design engineering and strong business experience. Together, they formed a balanced and effective team, combining medical knowledge with operational expertise.
In 1999, they opened their first adult family home and named it European Senior Care. After several successful years, they expanded and opened a second home in the same neighborhood. While rewarding, managing two homes proved demanding, but throughout the years, they gained invaluable experience improving both care and facilities.
In 2022, after serving many families over the years, Simon and Marina decided to consolidate operations and focus fully on one home. They closed the second location and expanded staffing at their remaining residence, now known as The Charlestown Home, located at the corner of 55th Avenue SW and Charlestown Street.
Today, Simon and Marina remain actively involved in management, ensuring high standards of care, addressing medical needs, supporting caregivers, and continuously improving the community.
